I agree. The hate for Bama is indescribable. Florida on the other hand is kinda like the annoying little brother, who you used to kick the crap out of, hit puberty, got a good job, the nice sports car and the hot wife.

We stopped "kicking the crap out of Florida" in 1953. We went 10-0 against them from 1916 until 1953. From 1954 until 1985, we went 3-9. 1990 is when Spurrier arrived, when we started playing them every year, and when it began to develop into a rivalry. We are 7-22 against them over that timeframe. If it wasn't for 2016, we'd be sitting on a 14-game losing streak against them.

I think what you meant to say is that for the last several years, Florida has been a mediocre program yet we've still managed to beat them only once since Urban left. That is why, IMO, our struggles against them are even more annoying than our struggles against other teams. We should have beaten them 5 years in a row from 2014-18, yet we only managed to win one of those games, and it took some crazy second-half comeback in order to do it.

When both programs are up, Florida consistently wins.
When Florida is up and Tennessee is down, Florida consistently wins.
When both programs are down, Florida consistently wins.
The only scenario where Tennessee wins is when Tennessee is up and Florida is down, and that has occurred very briefly just once, in the early 2000s. Fulmer went 2-1 against Zook.

just not on the table unless horrible injuries

did u see what he did in that offseason? lol now they know the system their mastering it

while learning that system they turned a horrible offense into a good one and improved franks and the O as a whole greatly
