Well, Muschamp might be a raving lunatic, but the guy can coach D. They are undefeated with a 62 man roster. UF is undefeated, will be in the top 10 and will stomp a mudhole in UGA. They prove where SEC football is won. In the trenches. All the while UT's D looks lost in translation, perhaps setting a season record for giving up big plays.

The good news is UT's offense looked much better against UF than LSU. LSU offense is pathetic.

UF back - sad but true....too fertile of recruiting grounds to keep them down long...talent can assist until coaching catches up

Yes, I really misjudged them. I thought they would be a 6-6 team this year. I tip my hat to them. They are much better than I ever expected.

Of course, they had zero points at halftime, so I think they are still behind Bama, Uga, USCjr. But we shall see.

I am impressed with their defense. And they have a good kicking game.

Yeah, you got to have a Ron Zook in there to mess up that recruiting...it is indeed very fertile ground.

...he didn't mess up that recruiting. if anything, he recruited well enough to have a great enough team there for Meyer to win that championship in year one

Zook just couldn't coach (in game) as well as was wanted/required

I think we could give LSU a good game maybe win.

So you're saying UF is 23 guys below the scholarship limit? Find that extremely hard to believe. Muschamp has done a great job, but if that's really his roster than crown him the best coach in college football.

Uf and usce are much better than I thought they would be.

No reason for the cocks not to be in atlanta.

FYP. I know very unlikely with their schedule, but they are certainly capable to play with Bama and get to the title game.

I hate this ****. UF has a couple of down years and then immediately climbs back into national relevancy and the top 10.

Meanwhile, we've been sitting around with our thumbs up our asses for the better part of a decade with nothing to show for it.

With the talent in that state all it takes is a half way decent coach and you can have it turned around in 2 years. That's why Meyer went there instead of ND. That's why Zook is a 4-8 type coach but with that talent he won an extra 3-4 games a year. Muschamp and Kiffen are sitting on guaranteed 9-10 win teams unless they completely screw it up. Last year uf lost there qb. If not for that they would have beat uga and uscjr and auburn and possible fsu. We got them at full strength and I felt they handled us more than uga and uscfr did. There record from last year masked the fact that they were better than everyone thought. You can't ever count out a texas, southern cal, lsu, or uf team. until the season unfolds. I'm just glad we didn't lose to a sucky uf team like I thought we did.

Florida does have alot of talent in the state. It's not hard to pull talent down there though. Beaches, good weather almost year round, and women in bikinis doesn't hurt! I think everybody (including FL fans) underestimated them!
