The story I had heard was that it began to rain and she then put the cap on. Unless their was written in policy that while covering the U of A you must not wear caps period or states other univ apparel, she has a case. Still pretty stupid and petty on both ends

Her company dictates what she should wear. The school dictated whether to talk to her or not.
so whose rights are you crying about?
The right to pursue happiness as long as it dosent infringe on others right ! Not crying I am a veteran an defended these liberties that so many forget.

So she got fired for using her constitutional rights? So are the dictating to people what they have to wear or are they jackarses? I think anyone can wear whatever they want as long as it's not lewd. Sue the piss out of them!what's the world came to.

I heard this today as well. The whole thing is stupid but she apparently has done the same sort of thing before this instance.Dan Patrick interviewed someone affiliated with the media outlet this gal worked for.
He couldn't give any details, but he said the UF hat was one of several incidents that led to her being fired. There's also a rumor floating around that she was posting to her Twitter account about how she'd rather be in Gainesville....while covering an Arkansas practice session.
