Due to their lack of depth, I expect Jawja to be slightly better than UT was 2 yrs ago. They ain't winning the East.

Georgia has depth. Quality depth. The 2010 UT team, in no way, resembles UGa's team. Our oline was full of freshmen, our qb was a juco, our backup qb was a freshman, our dline was pa freaking thetic outside Malik, our secondary was ok, our lbers were ...hell I cant remember our lbers, our rb had a good year, our kickers were freshmen. How does that resembele UGa present day?

Good points. I believe UGA is still loaded. I believe UF is too. Is Muschamp UF's DC?

Just heard Rodgers from Vandy say on radio that "we (Vandy) have the best receivers in the SEC hands down" ha

I could be wrong but I read a few weeks ago that UGA will only have 70 scholarship players this year. Thats a big hit in practice and if you get any injuries. You will see an effect from the middle of the year onward. They have enough talent to avoid 5-7 but they won't have enough depth to win the East. An SEC schedule is a war of attrition. Tough to win if you have 15 less players than everyone else.

Their schedule is tailored to win the East. Unless UT goes down there and beats them, they will probably win the East, even if they lose at USCe. This is assuming they win at Mizzou, of course.

We were severely low on players when Kiffy left also. Our 70 in 2010 is not even close to theor 70 in 2012.

Well no argument from the Vols. We have a WR coming back from ACL surgery, a guy who's never played in the SEC and an inconsistent 1,000+ yard receiver. We suck and it's gonna be another bad year for the vols.

Thank you.

Yes sir, I will definitely be there. I hope this is better than our trip there in 2008. I am a bit worried about this game. I feel like we should have a good season, but there is always a possibility that we may fall flat on our faces.

Blast candy!!! I will watch, & cheer you guys on for every yard you gain. **** vandy, they disgrace the SEC. Finish them!!!

Thank you. I certainly hope so. However, we have a talent for shytting the bed, so we will see.

Spurrier has been very high on Shaw the last few days. I hope we have finally found a quarterback that has a functional brain.

I agree their schedule is favorable but I think the cocktail party with Florida is a toss up game and they could very well be limping into the Auburn game at the end of the SEC schedule. I think they have at least 3 conference losses.

Thats why I said they would not go 5-7. I don't think 9-3 or 8-4 is out of the question. I don't think you realize how valuable those 15 players are even if your remaining 70 are talented. You need bodies in practice.

They may have a really good 2 deep. What happens when someone gets nicked or injured which is going to happen. You run the risk of not having anyone to replace him or you have to play a freshman who is not ready. Or you slide a guy over from another position but now you're weaker at two spots.

It's almost impossible to lose 15 players and it not have a noticeable impact on your team and record.

Valid points. I agree. UF always seems to give them hell/beat them. @Barn, UT, @USCe, and @Mizzou are all questionable games, too.

If Im not mistaken they're really thin at Oline and maybe wr. Thin but they have young highly rated youngsters. We were thin and had converted walkons. But I know what you're saying. Its never good to be down 15 schollies.

SC is in a position like they have not been in before. They did well last year beating clemson, top sec east teams, and winning the sec east. This year they are ranked in the top 10, fans have higher expectations, etc. I'm interested to see how they do under this pressure and can they repeat, or will they flop? They always seem to be slow on that first Thursday night game of the season, but I hope you guys give it to Vandy. I will be rooting for you guys against Florida and ga!

Thank you, Windy. I'm cautiously optimistic because of how much praise Spurrier has been spreading around. This is very unusual. He is usually ridiculing our players or saying that we have been having sorry practices, both which are usually accurate and fair.

Things are lining up for the coach. I think you guys could easily beat the teams you did last year, take advantage of the east still being down. Will the west teams still give you problems? I don't know who you guys have, but we shall see! Let's just get these games started! I'll see you and your cockys in Columbia!
