Correct me if I am wrong, but Tennessee has never won the sec and made the elite 8 in the same season.

So, florida's season would have been tennessee's best.....ever

I get the jab at Donovan but I think it's misplaced. I used to really hate the fact that he seemed to recruit too many guard or small forwards, in his own image, but over time I've really come to think its because we can't recruit the 6'10" blue chippers. It's just who we are.

I think people go overboard on criticism of florida's basketball program because they forget it's Florida

We are not Kansas, duke, Kentucky, Carolina, etc, etc, etc.

So, I don't have any long lasting bitterness and disappointment about falling just short of a final four or only having the 12th best team in the country in a given year.

Donovan is 31-11 in NCAA tournament play at Florida.

As far as I am concerned, it's a damn miracle

This Florida team had two personalities this year. One was a killer, the other a victim. They chose to play the wrong role today.

You sure have a unique way of defining "best." Whatever works for a team that gets embarrassed in the Sugar Bowl and the NCAA tournament is OK with me. You got me, I think?

It's like you're trying on purpose not to make sense.

Florida lost a BCS bowl game...while Tennessee finished up it's second losing season.

Florida just made its third straight Elite 8 run...while Tennessee lost to mighty Mercer in the NIT.

Tennessee's deepest run in the NCAA tournament was an Elite 8 run...something Florida's done the last three seasons, with back-to-back national titles not too long ago.

But yeah, you got us...I think. :thumbsup:

I really was not trying to jab Donovan, simply an observation. When you guys won the 2 NC's I seem to recall a couple of big guys. Again, a comment with no ill will directed to you.
