The article says:
Meyer has now parted ways with seven assistants since the end of the 2007 season. Stan Drayton, John Hevesy, John Holliday, Greg Mattison, Dan Mullen, Gonzales and Strong have takens jobs elsewhere. Only Mullen and Strong left for head coaching positions.

Interesting. Some here act like coaching turnover is bad, or uncommon at sucessful schools. Not so.

Assistant football coaches are becoming like basketball freshmen. The good ones are gone after a year or so.
:p

Most of the coaches meyer has lost have gotten bigger jobs. He's had a few that were pressured to leave, like gonzales and drayton.

Good career move for Gonzo's replacement. He is now an assistant at a premier program.

I doubt they did a real thorough search. This was probably a lot like the Cutcliffe rehire. Urban has already worked with this guy.

Meyer's obviously been planning to move gonzales out after their offense sucked big time this year in the big games. He had the new WR coach in speed dial on his cell phone.

Yeah, and I bet Azzanni only hesitated for .03 seconds before accepting the position.

Pretty nice move from CMU to UF.

Orgeron started at Northwestern State and Chaney coached at WESTERN Michigan.

Damn those facts.

Gonzales was forced out, and rightfully so. Our receivers sucked this year.

Now if Meyer can have Addazio focus on the o-line only and bring in a competent OC, I'll be pleased.

Central Michigan runs the same offense type offense that Florida does for anyone thinking this is stupid. And they supposedly have already worked together.

Here's an idea: Urban can call the plays and Addazio can move back to O-line.

The WR coach/ OC problem was linked.

WR looked bad, because Murphy, and Harvin left.

OC did what he could with what he had. Tebow. They just ran into a D (bama) that made you have to have someone else to win with, and the suporting cast did not show up.

Our offense looked like garbage against lesser defenses than Bama this season.

For the first time all season our defense took the night off, and we got ***** slapped.
