gators vs miami(ohio)

Yes. I don't care how down we are. If they play like this against us at home we will kill them.

bit of a difference between opening day, first quarter jitters and actually playing recurringly bad

miami is giving the game to them with the fakes. i can understand the first one, but doing it when you're that deep in your own territory is a little extreme.

it was also a "we know we're not going to beat Florida unless we take every chance we get...and do everything right"

the coach at least realizes how far out of it his team really is in this game

i'd say they're giving the game to them by dropping every pass even when the WR is open on a short route more than that; and the picks

they're playing very much on offense like you'd expect a MAC team to play against an SEC team ranked in the top 10

I hope I'm wrong and I'd love to see Miami pull an Appalachian State. But I guarantee Florida wins by 40 and hangs at least 50 on 'em by the end of 4 quarters.

edit: Wow...and after that last play call, I wouldn't be surprised to find out that the Miami coach has money on Florida covering the spread.

You may be right. More because Miami(Ohio) sucks and less because Florida is good. Miami(Ohio) has a horrible QB.

his receivers suck too

....also the line doesn't seem to be good enough to respond to pressure, but this was a team that only won 1 game last year isnt it?

i know. i don't necessarily blame him for doing stuff like this against florida since the matchup is so against them. but the 2nd punt fake was just asking for it IMO. why not just try to punt it away when florida's offense has been so stagnant in the first qtr? it's not worth it to give them good field position. just my 2 cents.

either way, it's not like it matters now.

Heard where they had - 17 yards rushing. That will bode well for us if they can't get it established.

if this wasn't a team that only won 1 game last year, i would totally agree. But i think this is a case where he knows his offense can't move the ball and - as that bad a team - that was kind of one of those "momentum has already shifted; if we just play normally we're still dead"....also florida looks to have baited them into it as well (like britton colquitt in 05)

killing them is their offense is absolutely horrid; they drop almost every pass when it hits them in the hands on the short routes
