Florida's decision was going to speak volumes one way or the other, and not willing to give up their bye week before they play the pups was not going to change the outcome of that game. Muschamp learn to get some balls.
Don't blame Florida one bit. No way I'd give up the bye week before one of the 2 biggest games of the year.
This, any insight as to why it wasn't postponed
They could have still played the game and just have it closed and TV only IMOThis was on GatorZone on why it wasn't played on Sunday
Many have asked -- why wasn't the Florida-Idaho game played on Sunday? -- here is your answer - Carter’s Corner - GatorZone.com

I wonder if florida just let their sixth win slip through their fingers without even playing a snap. A 5-6 record at the end of the season is entirely possible.
Maybe Idaho didn't want to travel another 2700 miles... Let's just blame FL because it makes us feel better...![]()

Exactly. Florida is getting stomped either way. I hope this makes them miss a bowl game for punishment of cowardice. Assuming Florida was an advocate of not playing.
Since the game ended with no score shouldn't it be listed as a TIE?...I mean the game did start.
"According to the SEC rule book, if a game is suspended before the end of the fourth period and cannot be resumed, there are four possible options:
Resume the game at a later date.
Terminate the game with a determined final score.
Forfeit the game.
Declare a no contest.
"The athletics directors from both schools, in consultation with the coaches, must agree on one of the four options listed above. This agreement will include the final score if the game is terminated.
"If the game is resumed, it will begin with the same time remaining and under the identical conditions of down, distance, field position and player eligibility."

And the stupid continues.
"UF is a bunch of cowards!!! I mean, I know Idaho has a say in this also, and they probably didn't want to play 10 straight weeks without a bye but....yeah screw those Gator cowards if they didn't want to play even though I have no idea if that's the case or not." :lolabove:
