GB vs Pittsburgh in Super Bowl

Oh for the good old days of our big uglies. They were on display tonight. Ramon Foster, Scott Wells, Chris Scott, Chad Clifton. Don't know if Harrell got in, but he made it there.

What's funny is that Foster was horrible here and Scott was good all of one year.

Woo go Packers!!!!! I'm so happy. And I'm intoxicated. 1/5 of Jim Beam. Wooooooooo. Go Packers!!!!!!!

kicking the fg was the correct call.

Personally, I'd have gone for the TD, with the following reasoning.

- It's a 4th down play, and the possibility of running the clock down to the two-minute warning is a decent one
- It's a 3-point game, with the possibility of sealing it with a 10-point lead
- If it doesn't work, Pittsburgh has the ball inside their own 5
- It changes the logistics of the final drive if it's a 3-point game. Pittsburgh is looking at one timeout and needing a field goal to tie it and force overtime. It's unlikely that they would get to a certain point and then start taking strikes at the end zone. Heck, if they get to the 20 of Green Bay, they'd start trying to center the ball for the field goal attempt. Basically, they'd play for the tie and not the win. Kicking the field goal forces them to play for the win because there's no choice

Honor and respect to both teams for a worthy super bowl.

Also, Joe Buck and Troy Aikman were brutal. My wife had to quickly step into the other room on the last Pittsburgh possession and was trying to follow it via audio, and mentioned that at no point was there anything said like "The Super Bowl is on the line"; they called it like it was some throwaway regular season game in October that had a 42-3 score at the time.

Buck called the Helmet Catch play by the Giants vs. the Patriots in the same dispassionate way that Dave Neal would have called a random 2nd down pass play for Vanderbilt against Miss State. He's useless. It's incomprehensible that he's Fox's #1 play by play guy.

Good game last night marred by one of the worst perfomances of the national anthem I've ever heard.Christina Aguilera might be one of the all-time bad singers I've ever had the displeasure of hearing. Not only can she not sing she can't even get the words correct.
