That makes more sense, even though the article linked above stated "in" a closet.

My guess, Hackman died naturally and wife committed suicide by pills. 1 dog starved to death or ate the pills that were found, the other 2 dogs were surviving off of the corpses. Terrible

Some people like to bring dogs to the grave with them. The wife probably killed herself and the “favorite” dog.. left the door open for the other 2

Gene was old as ****. No surprise he went. RIP. Royal Tenenbaums is a personal favorite.

Funny story, Gene was an old friend of former Jaguars head coach Jack del Rio. Apparently they knew each other through Gene's wife (RIP) and Gene became an honorary Jaguars fan. I saw him at training camp multiple times and called in the radio show a couple times. Seemed like a nice man.

read that they tested negative for carbon monoxide. but hackman's pacemaker stopped on the 17th. which is more than a week before they found him.

He was pretty well talented at any role he was cast.
