I'm not sure who we will get but I just hope and pray its JON GRUDEN cause I think he is the one guy that could save us by getting great recruits right away and also could get some of our guys that can leave to stay.. We will see what happens but this is the most important hire in Tennessee history! If we make the wrong hire it will be the end of Tennessee football.!!!

If it is G we better hope he works out if he gets a 10 yr contract.....consider that buyout after the wolves go after him in year 3......

There has been a lot of talk that Zook would be DB coach for Gruden and Raheem Morris the DC. Hiring Tee as WR coach is a no-brainer, as he's a game-changer in recruiting and would certainly come back home. Juan Castillo is also thought to be Gruden's OL coach choice, while Jeremy Bates would get a call for OC/QB coach. Graham will likely stay as RB coach. Bisaccia at STs, according to Wes Rucker and others.

That leaves TE, DL, and LB. Someone (Bisaccia or Castillo) probably doubles up for TE coach. I'd throw out names like Marion Hobby and Tracy Rocker for DL coach. LB? Randy Shannon? Keep Sal and let him coach LBs? He's great at that, even if he's a terrible DC. Maybe Joe Barry, who was Gruden's LB coach in Tampa and currently coaches LBs at San Diego? His dad is Mike Barry, former Vol Oline coach. And he was at USC the two prior seasons, so he has college experience.

Guys all jokes rumors aside...Hart has got to make the coaching hire of the century....wheather its Gruden,Shaw, Patterson or whoever....UT has to get the best HC and staff that has ever stood on the sideline in Neyland stadium...it's make or break time in knoxville. I'm a Tennesse native and love UT football as much as a fan can love the game....I truely miss seeing UT compete at a level that we all have been raised to be a part of on saturday afternoons every fall of the year. So I'm praying really hard that two or three years from now, I'm buying tickets to travel to Atlanta to the SEC Championship game and all this mess right now is just a bad memory....GO VOLS

Actually, he received faxed plays and formations from a former UT assistant coach (Jack Sells) before the 1991 game. Sells had been fired earlier that year for his role in recruiting violations when he was a UT assistant. Strong belief was that they(the faxed plays and formations) may have been used by Zook (a former UT coach under Majors, then a Defensive coach with Florida, under Spurrier) in preparing Florida for the 1991 game with us. This was denied, of course, by Zook and Florida. Florida won that game, BTW 35-18.

I'll admit though, it takes some brass to admit that you think Hymens is legit.
