General Flynn completely exonerated

You’re right.

It’s a political move to a) delay sentencing until the second term so Flynn will have a better chance of pardon and b) allow Trump to say Flynn got treated unfairly to justify the pardon.

It has next to no legal merit. In fact, if Flynn is allowed to withdraw his plea, I’ll sport a Trump avatar for the rest of this site’s existence.

BREAKING: DOJ Dropping Case Against Michael Flynn After Revelation of FBI Entrapment Plot

Alas, justice has been served. After new documents showed that the Federal Bureau of Investigation plotted to entrap ex-National Security Adviser Michael Flynn on perjury charges, the Department of Justice announced they were dropping the criminal charges against him. It comes after the top prosecutor, a former member of ex-Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigative team into Russian collusion, moved to withdraw from the case (via Axios):

Trump Unleashes on the Obama Administration and Media Over Treatment of General Flynn

"He was an innocent man. He is a great gentleman. He was targeted by the Obama administration and he was targeting in order to take down a president and what they've done is a disgrace and I hope a big price is going to be paid. A big price should be paid. There's never been anything like this in the history of our country. What they did, what the Obama administration did is unprecedented," Trump said. "I hope a lot of people are going to pay a big price because they are dishonest, crooked people. They're scum and I say it a lot, they're scum. Human scum."

The video is powerful.

This isn’t hyperbole. He’s seriously saying Treason was committed.

Nope. People who lie to the FBI and plead guilty (twice) to lying to the FBI don't deserve basic income. Now, Trump will probably hook Barr up with some cash for continuing to do his dirty work for him - so you have that going for you.
Then I hope the next government target, by hook or crook, is you. And when they bankrupt you and you have no home - sold to fund your defense after everything else was gone - that they find an angle on your children, threaten to imprison them, and all you have to do is cop to lying (even once), after the interviewing agents had already told the boss you didn't lie.

I hope that's you, rather than someone who doesn't champion that abuse. And I hope it takes years and grinds you to dust. Maybe then you'll be a good person and reconsider.

I'd prefer it was someone more rational and reasonable than Ribs... but... yeah.

If only.........
But yeah, that was my prediction.
I will continue to admit that I was obviously wrong because I grossly overestimated the rationality and reasonableness of the American public.
Or perhaps it was a ridiculous notion that the President of the United States would resign less than halfway through their first term?

So what are down to George Papdopolous as the only person convicted by Mueller that was convicted for something related to Muh Russia? And even that was lying, no underlying collusion.

Manafort was completely unrelated and Stone was lying to Congress and witness tampering IIRC.

You grossly overestimated your prognostication ability along with your ability to process facts. But, to be fair, that's what emotional people are noted for.

See, my feisty prediction was correct.

It was but to set up a a citizen of this country (take way the fact he is a 3 star general) by a corrupt group of government hacks should never ever happen to anyone. Regardless of party affiliation.

The fact that a political base is so entrenched that they would overlook this is the concerning issue with me, regardless of any Trump affiliation.

Nah, that's not it either.
