Yes, but from heart damage due to Marfan's Disease.

Now there you go with them negative waves, Moriarty. You want us to balance the skepticism and cynicism like McDad suggested. Party pooper. Actually, I didn't know he had Marfan's Disease until I checked on how he spelled his name.

I'm sure you can find a thousand more articles like that online. That doesn't mean they are necessarily correct. Again, we were propagandzed during COVID, what makes you think we not possibly be propagandized regarding this?

Every week it's something different. One week coffee is good for you; the next it will kill you. From some articles you'd think none of us would have enough brain cells left between this or that to keep posting. I'm not sure if medical/nutritional research has gone downhill or if it's always been bad and we just didn't know it because we weren't inundated with stuff on the internet.

Every human is different. I have family members who eat whatever they want are are healthy. I also know people who eat nothing but meat, butter and cheese who are very healthy. There is no perfect human diet. It doesn’t exist. My wife and I have absolutely thrived on zero carbs for almost 5 years now. But I can recognize that if you tried it maybe it would make you feel terrible.

I honestly don’t know if diet is specifically correlated with longevity. I have read stories about people smoking, drinking, eatijf like crap everyday and living to be 100. The article that poster mentioned probably didn’t take into account many factors. What about modern day pollution? Do those societies have a PlayStation, Xbox, cell phones and pcs in every room? Are they very active or mostly sedentary? Are they typically more happy? What’s their stress level? Many factors factor into longevity imo.

Definitely can see some real potential here. I am sure there are a lot of things to work out but this could be a game changer.

As long as it doesn't morph into a Frankenstein that attacks more than cancer cells. This is where I question covid. gain of function research, and developing things for which man has no natural immunity. We've just been victimized by it - I'm absolutely not buying that covid evolved naturally in a city where GOF testing was being done, and I'm not saying that the release was deliberate either. Lets say you develop a virus as a carrier to target cancer cells and the virus morphs and decides a lot of other cells look yummier. Should man be playing God? The goal can be good, but it could also go the other way, and the concept is that the virus works if the body has no means of fighting it. What could go wrong? It can be a game changer - in so many ways.

I have two older brothers. The oldest has had 3 heart attacks, the last of which would have killed him had he not already been in the hospital from his 2nd. He was in his early 70's at the time. My next oldest brother just had a stroke a couple of days after he turned 71, he survived, but he has a ways to go.
You guys are lucky I'm still here to torment your asses.
Oh, I meant to add that both of them are in perfect shape and the younger one rode a bicycle 15 miles a day for years. Sometimes genetics just takes over.
