George Quarles has Furman offense rolling right now

I'm aware of everything you cite and have side stepped nothing. Please note I've mostly been citing sources and operating in the interrogative vs the assertive. Quarles was obviously brought in primarily for the purpose of helping the offense. How much? I have no idea and haven't claimed otherwise.

The only thing I'll specifically assert on my own opinion is I find it pretty dubious that he left the golden position he had as Maryville's AD and HC (winningest HS coach in the nation the past decade) just to fart around as the TE coach at Furman. If he wasn't promised a huge role I can't reconcile his accepting the position in the first place.

and i think after years of being spurned by big programs he realized he has to work through the ranks. which he could be doing here

Another thing I'm not certain of but isn't he at least 50? I'm having trouble with the idea he'd leave the plush life he had going at Maryville (crazy success on the field and getting something like 90K to be the AD, I'm assuming that doesn't include coaching salary) and try to grind upwards unless he's got some fast tracked plans at Furman.

To the whole of the thread starting with the OP it is my personal opinion that to ascribe Furman's recent offensive success as entirely due to Quarles being on staff is as suspect as saying he hasn't been at least a substantive component.
