Simply put Bush was packaged as a southern conservative and we should have the ability to sue for false advertising. He is no different than any of the other Southern Democrats now inside the GOP - social conservatives and moderate to liberal fiscal conservatives.

You will get no argument on that point, but he is still more conservative than heavy left leaners.

The economy is good. But the economy is cyclical. Certainly there have been measures that have stimulated growth and prosperity for many.

You seem to almost want to defend W. I didn't say anything about Congress. I know there are many incompetent members there on both sides of the aisle. We aren't talking about Congress, we are talking about W. And the secrecy thing, it is more secretive than anything we have seen since Nixon. I am saying we should know about all the things that go on in the WH. We shouldn't. However, he has rule like he is a king rather than a president. And he has done an awful job. Remember I said incompetent, not worst. Jimmy Carter might go down as the worst, but as far as competency is concerned, W has none.

Any one could find any thing wrong with every one of them.

W is a lightning rod for all the wrong in the world.

He is a schmuck, but we have elected a lot of them.

The things done after 9/11 weren't the work of a rocket scientist. Any credible politician would have handled the same things accordingly

Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11

I voted for him twice. Yes, I admit it. I am a conservative Republican, and by conservative, I mean less government, and protection of individual liberties. These two things, along with misleading the nation on the Iraq war, are what Bush has failed miserably at.

I really hate our options for President. I have felt like I have been voting for the lesser of two evils since 92.

Did I mention that he has alienated the U.S. from most of the world with his heavy-handed diplomacy, enabling Russia to go more hard-line, and ruined any goodwill that we had developed? The next President has a huge task ahead of them to build some bridges.
