The thesis is that Trump is unhinged and just when you think Trump has hit rock bottom, you learn there is no depth he won't sink to. Will also chastises the Republican party leadership for failure to reign him in.

Last night's display at the church I was hoping would cause some Republicans to really pull back in their support of him at revulsion to the full circumstances. Tear gas, flash bangs, and rubber bullets to clear the square so he could stand there and look menacing with a Bible in his hands was too much. I would have thought so, anyway.

That Trump invoked Christian symbols like that ... I don't know. There was something very sinister about it.

It's not news that George Will hates Donald Trump. In fact Will has become an insignificant person nationally since 2016. In short, he lost his power to Trump.

What else you got?

I did not mean it as some sort of news that George Will dislikes him. I just think that so-called conservatives, especially Christian conservatives, should be appalled at Trump's behavior, especially of late.

Trump appears to me to be anti-Christian in pretty much every respect. His holding the Bible up like that was chilling.

George Will is a RINO Neocon has been and needs to do everyone a favor and die. He's pissed off at the American People for not voting in a RINO Neocon like Jeb Bush or Marco Rubio!

None of these clergy own rights to the Bible. Trump has as much right to use it as they do. That's noise and nothing else

Shouldn’t we just wait until November 3rd?

Talking heads like George Will are just mad at Trump for exposing them for what they truly are - political hacks who only care about themselves.

How many “dumb” things can you people excuse before it becomes “chilling”? He’s a “republican” that stood on a podium an claimed “total authority”. That would incite outrage from the right if it came from anyone else, but winning and loyalty seem to outweigh values and common sense with all things DT and his supporters. It’s actually really sad to witness a once proud philosophy sold down the river.

At this point if you are an evangelical and voting for Trump because he shares your Christian values you are either stupid or morally corrupt.
They never were doing that. Trump is a means to an end for evangelicals as he is the closest thing they have to accomplish what they want. They will hold their nose and vote for him again.

Dude could turn red, sprout horns and a forked tail, and grow a goatee and the Bible-thumpers would still hump his leg.
