Georgetown game

GTown has looked pretty solid on D in their game against Duquesne.

DSR is going to be an electric freshman who will give them some spark on offense. Whittington will be interesting to watch as well. GTowns guard play outside of DSR was suspect though, to say the least.

Nate Lubick surprised me the most in last nights game though. He's turned into a real lunch-pail type post player. It's a shame that Maymon will probably not be ready to go by the 30th, because watching those two go at each other would be worth the price of admission.

I assume Otto Porter will be back in time for the game. GTown started 4 players 6'8" or taller last night, and they may run a 4 forward rotation with either DSR or Starks bringing the ball up. Could cause matchup difficulty on both ends of the floor, as that probably means Porter will have to slide out on McBee, and McBee may have to try to handle Porter in the post on defense. UT and GTown have a lot of similarities in their play style, but UT has the clear advantage in experience this season.

First team to 50 points may win this one.

If they go with that lineup id think we'd see less of Mcbee and more Richardson, Edwards, McRae, and Q at the 2/3.

I do like the flexibility that all of these wing guys give us with the ability to be big at every position, even PG if you factor in Moore.

If its first team to 50 then we r in a lot of trouble since we seem to run the basketball version of the Clawfense

Evidently there's a Living Social (similar to Groupon) deal for Georgetown basketball where you can get 400 level tickets for $12. Just thought I'd share.

I've been high on this one since the schedule was released. Can't wait! Going to make a trip out of it and hit the VA game up as well.

Me too, man. I don't live in DC but I discovered this through a friend who does and is thinking about going. Would have saved me a bundle.

For the record, I don't think the deal was in place when I bought my tickets a week ago.

Georgetown is a really good team. Solid Sweet 16 / Elite 8 team IMO. Should be one of the toughest road games this season.

He was the 37th ranked recruit in the nation.

Oh wow, my bad I thought he was in the 90's or borderline 100's. Still though, he was a 4 star and will be a lottery pick this year ahead of a lot of the 5 stars in his class.
