Is there any chance at all Georgia can pull out a win on Fla? I know we will pray they can but I really dont see it. What would Georgia have to do to make this happen? I dont think Georgia has the off. weapons to do any damage.

I think it will take a Florida meltdown similar to that of the LSU debacle against Florida this year.

That CSS show, Sportsnite, that airs opposite SportsCenter, quoted David Pollack as saying that UGA simply doesn't have the athletes to compare with the ones that surrounded him when he was playing.

I thought that was one of the most remarkable things I'd heard recently. Everyone in the south is calling UGA a recruiting juggernaut, what with Richt and the all knowing Garner beating the Georgia bushes. And here's a recently great Dawg calling the machine below par.....

As to the topic, no. Georgia honestly has zero chance. Much as it pains me to say it, LG gets to spend a very comfortable weekend in front of the television..

UGA may come out early on D and play pretty good...and it might be close in the 1st qtr...but i expect UF to pull away and beat the dawgs pretty convincingly...

i won't be rooting that way...but that's what will likely happen.

UGA will need lots of help from Florida if they are going to pull the upset.

UGA wins in an ugly, and I mean ugly, slug fest. Urban Myth has terrible clock managment in the final drive, and it costs FL a one point loss.....

don't know...if they are up big, i can't believe they wouldn't though. but i would expect to see Tebow in normal game situations like he's been in all year long, short yardage (not just on 3rd or 4th down either), red zone...and goal line of course.

Will he try for a three pointer or settle for a lay up?
I think in the lsu game they could have got him for travling.

In the SEC, in a rivalry game, it is possible. Terribly, terribly unlikely, but it is possible I suppose.

Their defense might outscore they're offense if they're not careful, and they watch out for that short yardage back / point guard of theirs...

in a round about way, you bring up a good point.

two things are troubling when you think about Florida.
1. they are the most penalized team in the SEC, and i think in the NCAA as a whole too?
2. they suck at kicking FG's.

Usually, if you are bad in both of those, it will translate in to some losses. I think the fact that they have overcome those two things to get to where they are says a lot about the talent level they have.

would love to see UF in a game winning 48 yard FG situation. could they do it? thus far they've shown that if they got in to that situation, they couldn't.

All preasure is on Fla. so Georgia will not play on their heels. If the dogs can put a quick score up it might get intrusting!

My guess is that UGA will finish 7-5 with losses to UT, Vandy, UF, AU and GaTech. UGA has not played up to their potential all season. It's possible that everything could somehow gel and the Dawgs come out fired up and catch the Gators napping after the bye week. Of course, UF might be looking ahead to the Vandy game. LOL!!!

GA has a shot because Richt is a good coach, UGA has good athletes and that is the way the SEC works. That being said, I would not put any money on it.
