Nah, it’s the right call to go for 2. Down 17, 16, or 15. If you take the single point, then you’re down 16, and you’d go for 2 on both of your next TD’s. Might as well go for 2 now, and see if you’re down 2 or 3 scores at this point and adapt your strategy going forward. And since they got the 2 point conversion, now you go for 1 next TD, and keep it a one possession game at an 8 point deficit.
