I understand the hate for UGA but why does everyone think they lose to Boise? They are in ATL on turf that UGA can use their speed. I can easily see GA losing but can see them winning also.

Boise is the better team and they've proven they can win in hostile territory before. Also, one of the best defenses in the nation, outstanding QB, etc. I guess that's my rationale.

This is interesting -
Coach Mark Richt won’t directly address it, but junior Bacarri Rambo (great name) has been demoted to the No. 2 safety in Bulldogs in the latest depth chart release, prompting local reporters to speculate like crazy.

Rambo demoted. I bet it's not because somebody else earned the starting position.

my gut's been wrong before.....

but, i have a gut feeling that georgia (1) will kick the ever living crap out of boise state and (2) will go on to have a pretty good year.

mark richt knows his job is on the line. i expect georgia to respond.

Since we're talking UGA, I appreciate the love by the way, at least we're still somewhat relevant. I thought I'd share a fun little fact for you guys. I know most of you guys don't care but I figured I'd throw it out there just for fun.

CMR and UGA record when we break in a new QB:

Year Name Record
2001 David Greene 8-4
2005 DJ Shockley 10-3
2006 Matthew Stafford 9-4
2009 Joe Cox 8-5
2010 Aaron Murray 6-7

Now here is the interesting part.
This is the record that CMR and UGA produce when we have a returning starter at QB:

Year Name Record
2002 David Greene 13-1
2003 David Greene 11-3
2004 David Greene 10-2
2007 Matthew Stafford 11-2
2008 Matthew Stafford 10-3
2011 Aaron Murray ??????

I'm not saying this means anything but it is very interesting. I thought I would share that with you guys.

GO DAWGS!!!!!

Doesn't hurt you have the easiest sec schedule but I'd question who the RB's where during those same years. Right now you have no issue at QB.

Edited Lulz:
You had Musa and Knowshon; for many of those good years. Both were all SEC backs if I am not mistaken.
So the equation goes something like good QB+great RB+top 10 recruiting= no NC but good records. Hope I'm keeping up.

I wouldn't place money on this game, is how I'd put it but BS comes strong for games like this. Having a RB with experience would be kind of nice for GA about now is my main point. Holding the lead is half the issue with BS, so owning some clock would be good. I almost see GA looking like TN last year, Ok in run, good in passing but not able to eat clock. Killed us last year.

They didn't account for "almost all" of Moore's TDs or yards. There won't be much of a dropoff if there is one because Kellen Moore is simply an excellent college quarterback.

I was curious, so I looked it up.

They accounted for 2,166 of his 3,845 passing yards or 56.3%

They also accounted for 19 of 35 touchdowns or 54.3%

Significant, but it's also interesting to note that the next three on the list for most receptions & yards (Shoemaker, Martin, & Efaw) are a WR, TE, and RB that are all Seniors this year.
