It would break their 6 game win streak over us where they have dominated us and end their current 27 game winning streak that they take great pride in and bark about (literally) and possibly prevent a playoff appearance. It would be a big deal for recruiting too.

Unfortunately, with Heupels stubborn reluctance to make changes in his staff, players, and the current play calling scheme, we are going to lose badly.

I’m not sure if TN can run on us, but I will say that it’s a big deal if they can. Along with this, if Milton is dangerous on the ground it’s a big deal!

Can they? Well I’m a dirty ole Dawg fan so I will say, no chance, and they have no chance of beating GA!!!

The truth is, of course it’s possible! It’s in Neyland and the Vols are a good team. Should GA win? Absolutely! But that doesn’t mean we will. It’s college football, **** happens all the time!

GA HAS stopped the TN running game, last year. They're fully capable of doing it again. Quite frankly, if I'm Ga, I'm loading the box to take the greatest 2023 strength away, 100%. Joe isn't gonna beat you....that ain't happening, and today, it's pretty much fact. The wildcard? Which TN defense shows up......

I'm pulling for 'em come Saturday............ realistically. Which means I'm drinking, early and often.

All of that is irrelevant to our program right now.
Last year we beat Bama ending a 15 year streak. We took 2 steps backwards this season and either our coaches knew that was gonna happen (and not say anything ) or our opponents are out coaching this program.

Beating one of our main rivals is irrelevant? And one that's been the best team in the country for almost 3 years straight and ranked #1?

UGA loads the box and plays single coverage all night long against us because they can. Can Milton make them pay if they do? Will we stubbornly continue spending 2 downs on every offensive set running into the teeth of an 8 man front and go 3 nout over and over again?

Everybody on here was saying the same thing that Missouri couldn't stop the vols running game.

Lol the whole "nobody can stop our run game" got disproved as soon as we played a marginally good team (Florida) and then reproven the next time we played a good team (Bama) and then the next time we played a good team (Mizzou). This team has failed its three toughest tests of the year so far, so I don't believe anymore that Georgia cannot stop our running game.

I think we will have 100 yards rushing on the high end and -20 yards rushing on the low end.

I think that you have made some good points. Ga trailed south carolina in the first half, they also struggled early against some of their non conference games. Auburn had them down in the first half, and Missouri kept them within 9.
Alabama is a better team than ga, and we had Bama down big in the first half.
When we play a complete game, all 4 quarters I believe we can beat anyone.

They'll likely stop our running game and make the QB be a QB and throw the dang ball. We all know what happens when Joe throws, not much.

I wonder if we see more rollouts from Milton in this one? He did that pretty well in the Kentucky game. Seems like that would negate their rush some.
