georgia needs to own up to the fact that they still are going to lose until they out recruit everyone else in the SEC.
The first hit was legal. Tasteless, but legal. The hit in the back that Fairly got penalized for was pretty dirty. And he got a penalty. That's the end of that. The second one where Murray gets his knee hit is far from dirty. Murray looked like a European soccer star rolling around on the ground whining after that one.
Auburn, AL _ For Nick Fairley, it was business as usual as he led Auburn to yet another come from behind win. The Auburn Junior was criticized for his rough play on Satuday.
"I just do what I do. Said Fairley. "The football field is my playground, I'll do whatever I want as long as it's legal. If you don't want your QB snapped in half, get in my way and stop me."
Fairley is considered the leading canidate for the Outland Trophy, which goes to the nation's best interior linemen.
"It's just an honor." Said the all american. "I'm just going to stay humble and accept whatever comes my way."
The Auburn program is currently under investigation, but Fairley refused to comment.
"No comment", said Fairley.
I hate UGA more than any of you, but Fairley's blantant spearing of Murray was BS.
Karma's a ***** though...and it's difficult for me to feel bad for them after one of their guys (Sturdivant) took out the knees of one of our linemen (Sanders) back in the 2007 "celebration" game. Sturdivant blowing out his knee the following season was karma at its finest.
Fairley will get his.
