USCs Defenses were pretty good, but Auburns defense was by far there weakest link. Pete Caroll and Your boy Kiffin where paying every player on the team which is why Pete Caroll fled for the NFL and Gene Chizik had Cam Newton on salary.

Pete Carrol was a Great coach but he was a head coach in The NFL and College for 7 years before he won a National Championship. Smart won't get that many years, if he doens't win early he won't be there long!!!! Especially if he's recruiting well and still not Winning championships!!!

He will get 4-5 years tops to win an SEC championship and then he will have a hotter seat than Richt ever had!!!

Right. So hes basically recruiting at the same rate as Richt, but he can coach better than Richt with no body of work. Do they realize Cheney is the OC?

Are you implying that Cheney isn't a good OC? They also have one of the best OL coaches in the country!!

I agree that being in the same class as Richt won't be a success for Georgia. He needs to surpass Richt or they will have waste more years of no Championships!!!
