Georgia Tech and BYU's recruiting classes for 2015

It's hard to recruit for the type of offense that they run. Top rated recruits just don't want to play in the triple option. You would think most RB's would love to play in it though since they would be the main focal point.

Paul Johnson gets a whole lot out of extremely average at best recruiting. I think GT has a 8-4 season in 2015 and by the time the recruits are seniors GT will win 9-10 games.

I don't see them falling off as long as they stay healthy at QB. Justin Thomas still has two years left.

Johnson doesn't recruit by the *s. He recruits by needs and fit. He's fantastic at it.

Paul Johnson's recruiting is mediocre AF. He could have easily, easily had Josh Dobbs as his quarterback if he had even cared enough to offer him. GT has the exact same engineering concentration Josh is studying at Tennessee and would have been studying at ASU. He would absolutely tear it up running the triple option. And without going into too much detail, he has some family-related reasons for wanting to stay close to home. He would have jumped at the chance to stay home and play at Tech and Johnson didn't even offer him.

Not many top 25 qbs are going to go play in a wing t offense. Even if they are from Alpharetta

It's very hard to recruit at GT with the academic standards there. The standards are much tougher than all the teams in the ACC accept Duke.
