Paul Johnson won a national title at Georgia Southern with the tripple option... Granted there's a lot less talent in what used to be D2, but it still worked. I think they can, and next year they have a good chance.win the acc that is

I'm a UT grad married to a GT grad. It looks to me like we have some young posters on here who are not aware of the long rivalry between UT and Ga Tech. I can remember going to the airport my freshman year to welcome back the UT team that UPSET those highly-regarded Yellow Jackets in Atlanta. It was a huge win for a program in the mid-60s that was clawing its way back up to respectability (Tenn., not GT).

GT has four national championships. They are going to be an explosive team this year. I hope GT and UT don't renew that rivalry, because it was a horrible game for me - two teams that I love dearly playing each other. But it would be fun for everyone else.

A-Train had the talent to be at an SEC school, just didn't have the grades. I hate that he doesn't see much time on the field in Chicago. I'm a huge GSU/PJ fan.

Let's start a bring back Tech movement in the SEC. That would be the end of UGA. Tech has some of the best fight songs in college football. UGA is still playing that high school fight song.

They tried to get the opening game it Atlanta (chick-fil-A kickoff) between Tenn and GT in 2010. But they don't want GT playing in the game because they won't draw an out of town crowd. If we do end up playing in ot the more likely opponent will be NC State. I've got alot of Tech buddies and I have always liked them over UGA. I would love to see the matchup. It would make for one heck of a game day party.
