Georgia vs Ball State

Indeed. Very pleased with this so far. They’ll win this game handily, but they don’t look very good so far.

Issue is that they are so far away on our schedule that both Georgia and Tennessee will be different teams by then. I am more curious about Florida. Are they really struggling as bad as people said or did they just have West Coast travel bug?

Was Georgia holding on that punt return? Yes #83 was. It was obvious. This is embarrassing officiating and no surprise the color analysts including Stinchcomb didn't acknowledge it.

Very true. Would love to see them drop a game before ours though.

Georgia is up 21-0 guys already. Not sure why people are overreacting in this thread. If it was the middle of the third quarter, sure.

Always overreact until there’s a reason not to. Nobody knows the future.

The real embarassment is that Georgia is playing these teams. It is a little infuriating with the SEC. I think SEC teams (or at least the bigger programs) should have to play 2 Power 5 teams OOC. Look at Colorado's OOC schedule for example: TCU, Nebraska, and Colorado State.

Compare that to Georgia? Georgia is the #1. They should have someone like a Michigan, Ohio State, Miami, etc. on their schedule by now. I know they had to cancel Oklahoma but they could have found someone.

We are not much better, Virginia? We should have had to keep the BYU game.

It really shouldn't be that hard to schedule the OOC games as well.

Take Georgia last week, they played UT Martin. Well USC played Nevada, perhaps those two teams could have played each other instead. Or perhaps Georgia and Michigan (who played ECU).

I mean just call these teams up and make it happen. Play a neutral site.

Ball State is terrible. Thry are missing two starters at LB from last week. The officials gift wrapped Georgia's first TD on the punt return. Clear hold on the defender close to the punt returner.

Was there some suspicion Ball State was good? The spread was 42. 🤷‍♂️
