I agree with you, but there was a time frame where we had a huge head start to sign him if we wanted while Florida was trying to get Kelly. There were several sources that even indicated Mullen was waiting for an official offer from UT but it never came lol

I hate the targeting rule so much right now. I really think WRs just have an unfair advantage. If Pitts doesn't lower his head, it's just a massive hit and not targeting. The defender is just left in a no win situation. Allow him to make a big play or get called for targeting lol.

There is no way the DB can foresee that the receiver is going to drop his head. It would have been a shoulder to the chest otherwise.
