I thought Georgia won last year also.Don't know the the score of that game.I do know that georgia tech ran all over them in athens in 2009.They had close to 400 yards rushing.
great pointIf you're going on recruiting, then you want Richt to do just well enough to hang on every year, but not poorly enough to actually get fired and replaced by a dynamic new coach. You want him to be a dead man walking long enough that recruiting falls off, and the cupboard looks so bare that top coaches will regard the UGA job the same way that guys like Gary Patterson looked at the UT job after Kiffin left. You want there to be a huge hole to dig out of.
UGA's not that far down yet. From a Machiavellian standpoint, tonight probably isn't a good result for UTK.
I get what your saying as far as the Oline of Peyton's Era etc. But that same Peyton is just Lethal in the NFL! Like Bray, but he is no Peyton!I'll get burned alive for saying this, but it's my opinion so eff it. Peyton Manning was a god send for UT. He ignited our fan base to a new level , even though it was already in motion from Shuler. That being said. I'd rather have Bray. Peyton benefitted from a dominant Oline, a beast fullback that could block, two beast tailbacks and recievers at least as good as what we have now. If Bray had an oline like our 94-01 teams had, he'd be in the heisman discussion if not win one.

to He11 with UGA.
EVERY LOSS BY GEORGIA HELPS TENNESSEE BECAUSE it accelerates their downward spiral into complete and utter chaos (otherwise known as the Jim Donnan days part 2).
I'm almost getting to the point where I want Richt to stay afloat for fear that they could get a good coaching staff in place.

A buddy of mine, who is a UGA alum, has already mailed it in for the season. Sent me a text halfway through the third quarter of their game last night and said they were just horrible and will be lucky to win 6 games this season. Hahahahaha! I love it! Before the game they were going to win the SEC , according to him!
