Georgia's Schedule...

They will replace the "Luckeyes" as the darling team of ESPN.

This.

No reason VT shouldn't be undefeated at the end of the year (except maybe UNC).

And then gets bulldozed by whichever SEC team decides to go to the National Championship this year.

VT historically has ridiculously easy schedules. Except for JMU last year(hahaha that was great), they always start out 5-0 and think they should be crowned national champions for beating bad non-bcs teams. What's bad is they still manage to lose ACC games after those starts.

Any other year I'd agree that they should be undefeated, but this year I'd say they'll drop 2-3.

They have a new quarterback, who, while an athlete, doesn't seem very quick out of the pocket, seems unable to make the great throws, and is generally inexperienced. Their offensive line will suck as always, they've got one running back, and this year they have the added problem of zero depth on the defensive line. To top it all off, their best punter is a starter at flanker, and that's supposed to be Beamer's strong area.

My girlfriend's a Tech student and her parents are lifetime fans, and I always ask how they can justify spending the money on season tickets to see one or two good teams at home.

at this point, if georgia's first seven opponents were ranked #1-7 and georgia beat them all by a score of 50-0 and florida came into the game 0-7 having lost to the worst seven teams in the country by a score of 50-0.......

florida would still beat georgia.

I usually feel that way most years, but not this year.

Then again I felt the same way in 92, 00, 02, 03 and 05.

Not a tough schedule, but Miss State and Auburn are two of the better teams that they could have drawn from the West.

They also have SCar early, before they can get into an offensive groove, and SCar will have a sick D.

I think they'll start out 0-2, with the possibility of going 4-3 or 3-4 before their bye week.

I have to respectfully disagree with this thread!

Easy schedule?

Tell Boise St. that, top 5 team for sure.

Tell USCe that, defending SEC East champs and a true dogfight whenever we play the Chickens.

Tell MSU that, probably one of the most improved SEC teams last year and will only get better.

Tell UF that, the da*n lizards have owned us.

Tell UT that, the Vols love it when we come to K-ville.

Tell GT that, the little brothers always step up for this rivalry, especially at home.

Easy? Far from it. I will give you favorable but not easy. Easy means having no respect for the opponents and we're far from that.

I agree. Anybody saying UGA has an easy schedule is off base. Favorable, maybe, but not easy.
