I havent seen him up close, does he have the body type to grow into DE, would like to see him at LB, also.

In person, he looks a little short to be a DE.

I think his future is at MLB

How is he short.. he's between 6-4 and 6-5..
X-Man is only 6-2.. and Reynolds and Ayers are 6-3.

Heigth doesnt mean too much at all...
look at Parys and Mahelona a couple years ago. they were 6 feet.. if that

He is talking about Chris Donald. I'm also really hoping Donald stays at LB.

Donald is 6'1'' or 6'2''

Because we need more impact at the DE next year than at LB.

How certain are we we're getting him? Outlook good? He was very good in spring practice with us but it seems everytime we think he's on board something comes up. He was the best player in on his team in Cali and I think they only lost 1 game.

I really want him to wear orange after all he's been through. I think he got screwed.

If he has the grades he'll be here. He's tried to get in for the last 2 years. He'll be in orange or he won't be playing college football.

Its the coaches job to not only win games but also play players at the postions that are going to get them in the NFL. Just look at the number of linebackers on NFL rosters that are 6'3" and taller. Its few and far between. Plus, if he's a fast LB, that would make him an extreamly fast DE.

That isn't true. I saw a short feature on ESPN that said the prototypical MLB in the NFL right now is 6'3", 250+ and runs around a 4.7.

It is because of the blocking, OG and C block low, A guy over 6'3 can rarely handle it--He can play outside or DE but MLB would be tough if he is really 6'4
