Way back in the day, Maury Middle School in Jefferson County would sell tickets once a quarter to a gathering in the gym. You could either pay to put on gloves and headgear and settle your petty middle school squabbles like men, or you could pay to sit in the stands and watch.

Get it out of your system while raising money for the school? Heck yeah. No chance of that happening now.

Monkey bars and tall burning hot metal slides and Red Rover and wandering into the woods because there wasn't a playground fence.... Man, those were the days.
