That’s how Florida’s schedule has usually looked. Next year will be their first non conference regular season game west of the Mississippi River in 40 years.

In '17 they opened against Michigan in Dallas.....and lost! Expect another L when they go to UTAH.

There is zero reason not to schedule four cupcake home games along with our SEC schedule. The committee has made it clear that your record is all that matters if you are in a P5 conference, so why bother risking a non-conference loss?

Georgia is playing only to win another natty, and they have at least 6-7 easy wins to develop their depth and solidify any weak spots. We should follow that example, especially with the added games of a playoff coming soon.

Yeah but people are going to hate on him even if he gives us props. It’s the paranoia issue of fans that they have in their heads ESPN hates us.

And rightfully so, the "trailer park " comment is hard to forgive. Good thing for him that was late 90's and not now. He would be fired over derogatory comment like that today. But he did tweet this last year, so he might be employed.

So the narrative that Dog fans had this year was “everyone doubted us, didn’t give us a chance. We lost 5 first round picks and no one thought we could replace them”. PLEAZE!!
1) they have talent composite rank of #2
2) they have 15 FIVE stars on their roster
3) they were preseason ranked either #2 or #3
4) if your inside the top 4 that’s pretty much saying you have a chance to win it all and be in the CFP.

So looking at ESPN and it says they are favored to win next year . No $X&@ . I can hear it now, if they stumble (unlikely) they will say there was too great of expectation put on them .

That was a neutral site game. Guess I should have specified road game. Florida is 100% losing at Utah next season.

There is a reason Burt Reynolds was about to beat his face in. Some people just look and sound like a douchebag and Chris Fowler is one of those guys.

That is total bs, Georgia has become the Ohio state of the sec.
I’d Tennessee had this schedule we would go 12-0 or 11-1 , just like Georgia will… ******** and just wait all season we are gonna have to hear how freaking unbearable they are.. I wish they had to play Alabama and lsu and us every year… maybe then they would be on our level .

That's because their crossover rival has floundered recently. We never had that luxury with Bama, even when they were bad they were a Top 25 team.

Tennessee only has to leave the state 4 times next year: FL, AL, KY, MO.

From 1997-2003, Alabama had three seasons with 4 wins or less. But don’t tell that to Alabama fans 🤫

UT is the only team capable of knocking them off next year.
From where we sit now you're right. But the rosters of several of those teams will look a lot different. UGA will break in a new QB and again lose some talent. Yes. I know that they recruit well and everyone assumes that they will just reload. However, there are going to be peaks and valleys in talent regardless. Their valley may still be pretty high... but there is no guarantee from year to year that their roster will be as good. You could say it is a 98 dropping to a 94... but that still leaves a little more room.

USCe will have a shot. UF will play a lot of youth and have a shot. If not for the portal, a good coach could take what Auburn had and be competitive. I'm not sure that will be the case though.

I don't think Ole Miss will be a contender... but they could be a spoiler.

I don't think the run up to the UGA game for UT is all that bad. I really don't expect UK to be very good. Then the Vols play Mizzou before UGA. The most concerning part of UT's schedule to me is A&M then Bama on the road.

I thought the SEC was the be all end all of CFB? For reading here I t sounds like UGA has 11 cupcakes and us. How can that be if the SEC is so great?
This schedule looks exactly like ours (Tech/Pitt) w exception that Bubba is on our schedule every year instead of round robin. Looks to me like most are worshipping uga as unbeatable in the SEC if we don't do it.

Ohio state and Michigan have similar easy schedules. So that makes 3 no brainers to fill playoff spots. Tennessee up until a few years ago was still scheduling top 5 top 10 non conference opponents on top of a tough schedule already. I'm glad we have finally have seen the light.
