Yeah.... that's a pretty convenient take for you if I remember your attitude and posts correctly. So whatever suits you. Some were too optimistic... and yeah there are some of you who would have hounded them had things gone wrong.

For me... why not say what you think but keep an open mind? Why not add some hope to your "realism"? So forgive me if I don't have sympathy for those who went negative and didn't mind spewing it out constantly. Maybe a little comeuppance will be good medicine.

I didn't love the Heupel hire, but I'm hardly one of the negative ones around here. I'm going to enjoy our wins with other people in orange, not mock them. Enjoy your high horse, I'm sure it's nice up there.

But he didn’t, so he was wrong.

Since we are bringing out miss Cleo, why not bring another old but good commercial to the mix?

I heard he's following Harsin to Boise St. to be his OC. Something about Heupel, Harsin, and some Boise St. boosters meeting over a power lunch at the Olive Garden. I can't confirm, though, so take this with a grain of salt.

I can understand the skepticism by us. Danny White and his hire. I did not think that CJH would be this successful this quick... Last year was great and I figured we would make progress as we had last year but not like this. D White has the ability to fit the pieces into the puzzle and has worked wonders. I have trusted the ADs in the past too much and felt like they were supporting the Student Athletes as they should. D White Has gone above and beyond this in that he seems to have all the coaches taken care of and runs a tight ship. Our program was programed for failure under the previous regime and he has corrected that and made the necessary moves for us to be where we are today.

As can everyone else. I haven't seen any criticism for past posts about being skeptical. I have however seen it for the definitive "doomed to failure," "woe is us," "pay attention to me" ish like the micropenised-jackhole that started this one. And personally, I love seeing the crow get served up because we all know they'd be here telling the world how they called it early on and we need a coaching change if the program was merely on-track at 7 wins this year.

Is this all really that hard to understand, or are you being intentionally obtuse?

I’m surprised I had no post to regret. I think it was lack of body energy…well before our new AD brought his most recent HC aboard. I wasn’t excited over Franklin or Elliott. After the Matt Campbell fantasy fluttered away I set my timer to wake up for Spring Practice and renew my constantly unrequited optimism.

I'm sorry those people gave you ****. I'm pretty certain it wasn't me. Maybe go find them and give them a hard time. Before today, I think I only have 2 posts in this thread, and they're both positive. Not sure why you're so mad that I think attacking other Vols is a bad use of time.

This thread just reminds me of the bad old days when trolls, negavols, and gleeful fans of our rivals out-numbered and out-shouted good Tennessee fans on these boards, making every thread a misery.

Luckily, the worm began to turn within a few months after Count Volcula spewed this one out of his gullet.
