Update on where our former QBs are now playing

JT Shrout - Starter Arkansas State
Harrison Bailey - Backup (3rd string) Louisville
Tayven Jackson - Projected Starter Indiana
Brian Maurer - Backup Stephen F Austin
Kaidon Salter - In QB Battle Liberty

I am interested to see how Shrout and Jackson do. I actually had high hopes for Jackson. Of course I had high hopes for Bailey as well and bought into the stats he put up in the Georgia HS football system.

Guarantano - Blue chip dual threat QB
Champagne was popped all over the state when Butch signed him.
What could go wrong?

Who are all the QB busts ahead of him?
He was the #3 pro style QB and I dont remember him doing anything. When did he ever play in anything meaningful? I honestly don't remember.
CJ Leak, Randy Sanders, James Banks, Moses Collins, Joey Matthews and AJ Suggs comes to mind. Chris White was a waste of a scholarship before redeeming it all as a DB in his final season. There are others who flamed out epically that I’d need to revisit.

Bailey wasn’t great, but nobody came close in that mishmash that Chaney fronted and Pruitt micromanaged. He kept his head about him as a true freshman in a lost Covid season and found a way not to lose to Vanderbilt.

HB should 100 percent be given a chance to play.
He wont, tho.
Not under this coach. He would look absolutely stupid if HB went out there and played better than Milton/Hooker. Which he probably would.
Hope he transfers, i'll become a fan of that team.
I wonder if this person ever became a fan of UNLV and now Louisville to watch Harrison Bailey become a 2nd/3rd stringer for them? I guess our coach knew what he was doing. Bailey would probably be a 5th stringer behind Navy Shuler tbh.
