I really don't see a problem with him going to South Carolina.
He's a good high school back but Tennessee already has commitments from one rated significantly higher than him in Oku and it is likely that T. Williams, a big, fast I-back, is headed here as well. In addition, Thigpen is another RB/Athlete who is coming and who is ranked slightly higher than Giles and Thigpen runs a 4.34 forty.
With the backs that are already here (who, in my opinion, can be very solid) and the ones likely coming, Giles may be worried, and with good reason. He is looking for a place he can be the man. If he comes, great. But if he returns to his first choice at South Carolina, who could blame him?
Personally, I hope they find a way to use this scholarship to land a top-rated line prospect on either side of the line. That's who we really need, not another serviceable college back.
