The man can coach, but he sucks as a sportsman.

Did you guys see him walk right by Darrin Horn at the end of the SC game? Not to mention the way he treated the lady from ESPN at half time of the Ole Miss game.

Say what you want to about Pearl's coaching...the man always treats the opposing team and media with the utmost respect.

Total metal down on catspause over everything. They're all trashing him for bad sportsmanship as well.

i don't think we have to worry about him long, after next year he will be looking for employment elsewhere.

you don't think so. possibly no berth in the ncaa this year and next year when they lose patterson and meeks, i don't think they make it in either. i think he only signed a 3 year contract, if they wouldn't put up with tubby i don't think they will give him any lead way.

I have very little doubt that he will be back next year. He's a prick...but he's a good coach.

i think he has next year and that is it. can you imagine what they will look like when patterson and meeks are gone. i think next year is the last year of his contract and he's not a very popular guy in kentucky. i really think he is out. i have alot of friends and family that live throughout kentucky and i have never heard anybody ever say anything good about him.

Last I had heard he had not signed a contract due to a "moral" clause.

Guy is a crazy good recruiter. I would be surprised if both PP and Meeks left after this year.

i'm going by what patterson said at the beginning of the year and what meeks is doing on the court. he is a good recruiter, but with no outside shooter other than meeks he is doomed. they don't have much patience in the bluegrass state, and his results have not been great.

I would bet on PP leaving - but Meeks is pretty small. 6'2.. maybe 6'3 and he's not a point guard. I don't really know his situation - it'd be harder to have a better year than he's having if he came back - so he may leave, but he could come back and prove to be more versatile possible and up his stock. He may not translate into the NBA period. He's certainly a bit more athletic and stronger than Lofton though.

Why do you say they won't make the NCAA this year? If they don't make it then we're screwed.

I don't think "groping" Erin Andrews was very respectable. He blamed the refs for their last loss,rather than being a man and saying he isn't getting the job done.
