Give Crompton a sedative?

Saying a person could maybe use some help with anxiety. Is no different than saying someone with with osteophytes in their knee or elbow could use some arthroscopic surgery to clean them up.

Are you serious?? Did you know Barbara Streisand had stage fright so bad so almost didn't pursue a career in entertainment? People can't help the things that hold them back. Crompton looks great in practice, he looked really good vs. WKY. He wasn't able to keep it together playing UCLA and didn't play to his potential.

Now you tell me how that is bashing him.

I don't care about Babs. JC can walk out in front of 50k booing "Vol fans" so it's not guts. He goes to class and sees pictures of himself from "Vol fans" on posters asking him to quit. He gets yelled at and cursed walking to class by "Vol fans" and professors making jokes about his playing but still keeps going. He gets death threats from "Vol fans" but still steps on the field every day. See a common theme yet?

I am saying it because I have been there---know the signs and see the evidence. This is why I was qualified to start this thread. I KNOW the dangers of Anxiety Attacks. Some people think it is funny----NOT.
Addressing a problem is not being critical--FYI.

only if you are a Dr are you qualified. I'm betting good money you're not

Taken seriously it's an intersting question that frankly would need a genuine expert diagnosis to answer. I'm afraid I'm of the opinion he just doesn't have "it" to play at this level. It's not like there's any shame in that. Getting a scholarship to pay for school is lots better than most people get. The fact is he shouldn't be on the field to take this abuse. In a better world he would be on the bench backing up our All-SEC QB and even if called upon due to injury it'd be more a matter of "Cut the guy some slack, he's the backup, what'd you expect?". He's not that good AND he's the center of attention as the starter. Not good.

The less than serious answer is if he shaved that hideous thing of his face (EVERY female I've watched a game with has commented negatively about it) maybe he'd, you know, get a little sumthin-sumthin. Maybe that'd make him feel better.

Well----read your posts----then read mine.
Rest my case. Actually, I can't believe I even responded to such jibberish. Won't in the future.

Suggestion---read---comprehend---respond.
Don't do one without the other. Dunlap. :)

I think you might be a little sensitive, dont think that the belief that JC has an anxiety problem is a bash on him. It is evident in his big stage performances that something is going on in that head of his that he needs to get straight. I want JC to be successfull, I think he has earned it from staying with UT for what is his fifth year and going through his fourth OC, but you can tell that his head just isnt in the game when it comes to game day.

All Volunteers everywhere need to eat a fistful of ludes and chill out. The rebuilding process will take a year or two. Ask a Michigan fan.

Nah---47 was just looking for attention--he kept posting the ridiculous until someone--Finally you and me---responded-and gave him the attention he was craving. Desperate tactics. Or worse----:ermm:
When all else fails--they go to the personal atacks.
Gotta ignore some.

That's just one opinion hndog609..How much did she charge for the advise...

Advice was free, just like the rest of it.

I'm working under the assumption this little bit is all in good fun. This is based on another assumption that your cognitive skills were up to the task of my post clearly delineating a "serious" and "less than serious" answer.

I'm not guilty of badly overestimating your comprehension skills, am I?

You naysayers, fair weather fans just can't stand it when someone doesn't agree with your pitiful posts.
