Will,

Glad to have you aboard. Any chance the Vols pull any of the Texas targets they are after? Ahmad Dixon for one and I believe Corey Nelson was the other player we were after strongly. I know Dixon has spoke highly of his trip and the coaching staff and we have got to be a better program then Baylor. I believe Nelson is a stretch but this kid can flat out play!

Also, should we be concerned with Willis taking these other trips this close to him wanting to be an EE?

Finally, news on Riggs? Another stud DB I think could help us soon!

Yeah I just saw that too. Seriously, how do we lose a former players brother! Especially a player like Gerald Riggs he was a fan favorite and was a big name for us during his time here. We def dropped the ball here IMO.

Riggs is smaller than my little 14 year old brother.

I am glad we did not get him and I look forward to Milton and Ambles abusing him much worse than the kid from Byrnes did who we did not offer who I think is named Jazz.

Recruiting questions...

Do you think UT has a shot with any of the 3 prospects they are in contact with at Dwyer High School?

Would like any info you can give on the following OL targets, Chaz Green, J. Cullen, Morgan Moses (who I am not sure is a target and who may follow Latrell Scott to wherever he ends up now that he was fired by UVA), James Stone, Damien Robinson and Shon Coleman.

My understanding of the board is that it was Green, Cullen and then Coleman above the others but if we are still pursuing Stone hard it means that we may not be doing as well with the above.

Any information about how you think the coaching defections at UF will impact the recruiting class would be great. I am hoping Elam is an EE with Luc at FSU if we cannot get him.

Regarding Elam, it would be good to have him out of conference if you can't get him at all.

Chaz has really warmed up to UT over the past few weeks in particular. UT is in pretty good shape here.

From my sources, Stone is a highly unlikely possibility at this point.

Robinson on the other hand could very well be heading to Knoxville.

Shon Coleman has mentioned before that he would really like to play with Robinson again, so we'll see if he'd actually flip because I do know that he is an extremely soft verbal to Auburn at this point.

I have heard that both of the TE's we have commited (Delvin Jones & Ken Adams), we are in jeopardy of losing.

Do you think we can hold on to Adams and Jones or if they can even make it in?

And if we lose both do we wait till 2011 or find another 2010 TE

Riggs supposedly wanted to commit to UF earlier this year, does them taking his commitment mean anything at this point as far as missing on some of the guys higher on their board or is this just a PR move because of all of the coaching turnover?

I hate it when people act like they don't want a guy after he commits elsewhere but this guy was very small, is there a chance Riggs was a bit overrated?

What are the chances that we land Demitrius Wright(sorry if spelling is wrong)?

What 5 star prospects do we have the best chance at landing?

Being around certain people that have been directly involved with James Stone, I can tell you that I believe this is incorrect. James hasn't spoken with his coach about recruiting in almost 2 months and is still high on UT and the coaches are in constant contact. His HS coach absolutely despises UT, and is/was pushing him away from UT. Only time will tell, but it seems that UT and Bama lead for his services from what I have been told and Stanford and Notre Dame are out because of distance. I may be wrong on this one, but I don't feel that I am.

This is mostly correct. UT is still in it. Notre Dame leads.

Welcome aboard Will,..this may have been already asked, but do you see the Vols with a top 5 recruiting class this upcoming year?

I'm not here to debate with you, but Ralph Thompson has been handling his recruitment regarding recruiting services. Thompson has said to ESPN Affiliate AuburnUndercover.com and to CrimsonConfidential.com that Alabama and Auburn are the two clear leaders for his services.

Stone does not talk to us so we just go on what his coach says. Coach Thompson obviously talks with him because he went on his last visit to Auburn for the Iron Bowl.

Take it for what it is worth.

Ralph Thompson is simply the only one talking.

James is trying to distance himself from Thompson. Who could blame him. He cares more about getting his name out there than he does Stone's future.

I would take anything you hear from Thompson with a grain of salt.

According to James from a friend of his to me, his current leader is Notre Dame.

Whoever said we have a shot at Stone is wrong. Stone hates Tennessee. His coach has acknowleged that to multiple people and James never wanted to go there.

You are wrong. His coach hates Tennessee. James does not and he speaks with Jacques Smith regularly. Ralph Thompson is not the best human being and Stone is doing what he can to distance himself from him.
