McLovin is not to L'oven Fresh that Jared Fogel was to Subway. A little random observation for the broken light bulb in bread thread.

Sears does not make Craftsman products. Ryobi is a Home Depot only brand, but Techtronic Industries owns it. Techtronics make Craftsman power tools. They also own Hoover vacuums and Homelight chainsaws.

there is a difference in Sears brand tool and Craftsman, just like with washers and dryers

it is mostly what the company, like say Sears has order the company to install in it and then they market it as there own brand

which I do like Sears Kenmore products, when I was young mom and dad gave me there old Kenmore washer and dryer, they lasted me another good 10 to 15 years after they were given to me

when i sold the dryer for 50 bucks, the guy said, damn the light still works on it,it had the same fluorescent light, that came with it, the washer did have the gear box on it lock up after around 25 years of service

come to think of it.i still have the monkey wards fridge and dryer that they gave me too,I had to replace the washing machine a couple of years ago and bought a Kenmore

the fridge is still working and it has to be close to 30 years old and could be older than that, nothing like monkey wards either :)

where did you find the code number at ? I have a loaf of Sara Lee

GM, the code is printed onto the bread bag. It might be between other numbers.

This isn't Sara Lee but it's a bag of Great Value hot dog buns. I imagine that being printed by the same factory it'll have a similar stamp.

What was yours?

I should clarify my previous post...

I'm not 100% certain it's that group of numbers so if you see "1658" anywhere in that stamped area you should probably take it back or toss it.

there wasn't a 1658 on it and the expiration date was different

Similar thing happened with a well known beer a couple years ago and they didn't get out in front of it. A potential million dollar mistake turned into about $75mil of scrapped inventory

The private label world is still amazing to me after falling with it indirectly for the last 15 yrs. Buying a name brand definitely doesn't mean much anymore

Glad you found it. Late to reply but mine was printed right next to the expiration date. Truth be told though if my bakery code was not so similar to the one they recalled I might not have recognized as anything but a few random digits.
