ABSOLUTELY no need to intentionally foul UGA with 26 secs left! We just needed to buckle down on D, then rebound... We would have had 6 seconds to win the game (only down by 1 with a Georgia miss)! :blink:

Actually I think there was only a 4 second difference despite what the announcers were saying.

That's not enough time to hope for a good shot.

I fault Martin a lot more for the last possession in regulation.

If our team were more developed and experience, I'd agree with you. Honestly, I think one could make a valid argument for either case, but I think fouling was the right call for us tonight.

McBee had a big knock-down at 53-52, obviously, but it seemed like pretty much every possession down the stretch in the 2nd half and in OT, UGA attacked McBee. Off the dribble, backdoor cut, whatever...they just kept going right at McBee for easy baskets. I blame that on the decision to use him there.

I don't mind the foul. Still plenty of time to win it if we knock down shots. I do blame CCM for NOT playing Stokes until there were only 26 seconds left in OT. Too little, Too late at that point

Foul on Golden's runner at 56-53 would have been nice, but it doesn't come to that if there aren't two straight offensive rebounds.

Raise your hand if you would have been pissed if we didn't foul and still ended up losing. I am willing to bet there would be a b!tch fest about that too. I would rather be down 3 with 24 seconds left then down 3 with 4-6 seconds left.

They had to foul, it wouldn't be enough time for our guys to make a play...Actually we should have went to the rim and got an easy 2, then fouled again..Should have been able to extend the game...Game shouldn't have even got to overtime, but we couldn't make a play when Ga was doing nothing on offense..Don't have a lot of D-1 talent on this roster..

But we might have been down just one without a foul, with a TO, and 4-6 secs left...

Have a player streak to the front court, in bound it to him... tell him to go straight at the basket... Good chance he gets fouled even if he misses... we get a chance to win the game at the free throw line...

I mean I'm no expert but basketball was my first love... I've honestly never seen a coach intentionally foul with the shot clock off and time still remaining on the clock (in 20 yrs)...

Or UGA makes the shot and we are SOL.

Fouling at least gives us a better chance to come up with a tying play.

How are u SOL?! Your gambling roughly 20 secs of game time for -2 points! There's still time on the clock and it's a lot easier to score 2 then 3 with the clock winding down... Plus you could have a chance to actually WIN the game!
