Anyone who ever wore that ugly Gator uniform makes it much easier to dislike them. They made a very poor life choice and have to live with the consequences!

It's a similar situation, I think people more hate the Tebow fanatics than they do him. Though now that he's fully retired from all sports most of that has died down.

Tebow earned some of that hate with remarks he made about Tennessee, both during recruiting and as a player. I think many have grown to like him as a person, but really disliked him as a player.

Coincidentally, I went to college for a year with his older brother. He was one of the most arrogant people I've possibly ever met at the time, but has since learned a good deal of humility in life and matured from what I can tell.
