Go Baylor!

I honestly believe Baylor purposely gave that game away so TCU can stay in the playoff hunt. Just break down the last 2 mins and watch it. Baylor moved the ball about 3-4 yards every play until that last series. Makes you wonder and then every receiver was wide open for TCU on their last series. It doesn’t add up to me.
Reminds me waaaaay to much of our last few Coaches. I feel what the Baylor fans are going through right now. You trust your offense to do it’s job for 57 minutes then when everything is on the line, you tell them to play it safe 🙄

Need the Bears to pull off the upset today!! TCU only a -2.5 favorite and game is being played at Baylor. Game time at noon eastern. I’ll be watching closely! TCU loses and we are in!
Coach couldn’t run out the clock and gave TCU the ball back. Coaches need a fan to give them an idea.

The refs never stood over the ball to allow Baylor to sub and I don’t think Baylor did.

Had they tried they could’ve tan the clock out

Baylor and Illinois blew their upsets with tine expiring. Surely that is taken into account by the committee.

At first I was sure you were referring to the 36 players we had on the field against LSU under Dooley. Good points though

Wow, Baylor's coach got so tight he couldn't have passed a BB. Terrible end of game play calling.
I suspect Baylor did not have a play in their resume for " leading with 2 minutes left in the game". Can't really blame them====they've never been in that situation before. The Baylor QB looked at the play-calling list on his arm band and only saw= 1) run into the arms of opposing team 2) Hurry up and give the ball back and hope your defense can contain them 3) Do not pass the ball to the open receiver down field at any cost.

One of my pet peeves is that officials change their rhythm and routine in the last minutes when a team is hurrying to beat the clock to score. They break from their normal rhythm and suddenly start running as fast as they can to set the ball. This leads to officiating mistakes, no time to look at questionable catches and more importantly, an unfair benefit in increasing scoring probability for the offense. The defense should not be penalized by a faster spotting of the ball just because their team has outplayed the other team to that point.

Aranda explained it on the post game show. That substitution rule doesn't apply at end of game FG situations. BIG XII rule apparently.
