Maybe. It's looking like it. Stanford and uconn shot horribly in the first half. Stanford did the best they could with their 20% or so shooting.

Wow: I didn't think it was possible to play any worse offensively than UConn did in the first 25 minutes of the game---through the first 5 minutes of the second half--but Stanford was worse! When you've got a 8 point lead at the half but don't score a point in the first six or so minutes of the second half--or was it longer, I stopped watching?--I knew the Cardinal were destined to lose it. I think this game sets back women's basketball about a decade--but I've said that before watching horrible offense in the national title game. Stanford reminds me of UT--very big and very slow. You sort of knew that Moore would get untracked--and she's about the only player on either side who can make a shot.

im rooting for them but they are done. not watching but at last count they were being out scored 7-26 in the second half... its over.

we can hang our hat on the fact that uconn didnt play us once so far in their 78 game win streak.

That was major choke job by Stanford--and very unlike them. It's one thing to get beat, but good grief, you can't be the no. 2 team in the country and play that pathetically in the second half.

Well, even though uconn had the higher score at the end of the game, it was a pretty pathetic effort on their side, as well. Just not a very good NC game.
