God I love the spot we're in right now

Did you not just watch what happened this weekend? Winless Baylor nearly beat an Oklahoma team that was riding sky high. Boston College was tied with a Clemson in the 4th quarter that destroyed Louisville and Auburn the past 2 weeks. South Carolina needed a last second FG to beat La-Tech at home. Penn State needed a last second TD to beat unranked Iowa. Etc.

This is college football folks. Where crazy swing happen from one week to the next. I personally love being the team that is gonna be counted out before the game rather than the team riding high from a dominating win the week before that everyone is patting on the back. Look no futher than last year when we played Georgia. We had just come off the emotional win over Florida while Georgia had just been blown out by Ole Miss. Everyone had us beating Georgia rather easily. Instead what happened? Georgia outplayed us for most of the game and we needed a last second hail mary to win.

This is college football. Anything can happen any given week.

Aren't you the same yahoo who predicted UT was a playoff team with a Heisman finalist?

Next Saturday will be an ugly day for Tennessee football. UGA will:

Sink us like a three-foot putt
Flip us like a cheese omelet
Roll us out like wholesale carpet
Drop us like a load of bad asphalt
Etc.

Not sure I can even bear to watch the game. My neighbor's screams and Dawg barks will tell me all I need to know.

UGA blows out a ranked opponent and will come here as a top 10 ranked team riding sky high. Their freshmen QB also just had a career game looking practically flawless. While we just barely won at home against aguably the worst team in the FBS.

Everything says Georgia should come in here are beat us. But remember this is college football. We couldn't have asked for a better spot to be in. I hope everyone in the media picks Georgia to destroy us this week. Cause when stuff like this happens is usually when the opposite occurs.

We're beating Georgia next week. PERIOD.

Yeah that's worked so well for us against Bama the past 7years too. They come in ranked in the top 5, everyone picks them to beat us and..........

Oh wait, we haven't beaten them since CBJ got here, and UGA has just barely less talent than bama and isn't coached by an idiot that out thinks himself.

UGA wins by 24, book it, mark it, save it or do whatever you want to to remember it. Oh and they only win by that much because they start playing 2nd string after half and get 3-4th stringers playing time by the 4th qrt.

I can call this game for you right now. We start off slow, have a couple of turnovers that give up points. Get behind by 17 then come roaring back in the 4th quarter only to lose the game in the closing seconds with back to back personal foul penalties on defense getting them into field goal range. The rest is history. This is chaos football.

Still think it will happen. We're going 12-1 and winning the SEC Championship. And John Kelly will be in the New York City for the Heisman trophy presentation. Unfortunately Baker Mayfield will win it.

The "logic" on which you base your predictions on is literally the flimsiest, faux- transitive property of football nonsense that anyone could think up.

A child with a magic 8 ball toy could literally replicate the level of success that you achieve with your predictions.

LOL @ thinking Georgia is Alabama.

You dawg fans are so delusional.

Can't wait to hear the calls to fire Kirby Smart this year after y'all lose to Tennessee, Auburn, and Georgia Tech.

The last 6 games against UGA have been a one score difference. It's just the way this series has been regardless of talent. Have some faith. I really, really hate UGA.

where's the damn "like" button when you need it?!?!:lolabove:

If Butch would get his crap together we could have one.Freak has to disable it so the server doesn't explode. Butch Jones has destroyed the possibility of the like button for the foreseeable future and will have Tim Priest blood on his hands when he falls over from all the dumb situational football.

5 of those last 6 games were under Mark Richt.

I sure hope you are right. We certainly have enough talent to play with and possibly beat GA; however how many top 10 teams has Butch beaten? Heck how many ranked teams (teams that finished ranked) has he beaten?

I mean I really hope your right, but for me the coaching is looking real bad, the play calling is looking real bad, and bad to iffy teams are as good or better than us. So I just can't see it............however if you are correct, I will be pleasantly surprised, and not totally disappointed.

I ask people before why they don't ignore him and they claim it's entertaining arguing with him. I just don't get it.

You're acting like Kirby Smart is some great coach. He's the same guy who looked lost last year.

Once again by prisoner of the moment.

Admit it, you were holding up 4 fingers when vandy was losing 49-0 to Alabama at the end of the 3rd quarter.
