No other way to explain that play. I'm glad that Auburn won it. I believe they got screwed on that Murray touchdown.

There are other options:

Or he's a South Carolina/ Steve Spurrier fan.

Or he's a fan of a team that doesn't like Missouri.

Or he's a GA Tech fan.

That's all I've got at the moment....

Edit: After reading this article:

1 play, 2 divisions: Auburn miracle could shape both SEC races - CBSSports.com

For Auburn fans and for Georgia supporters, the leaguewide fallout from the "Prayer at Jordan-Hare" was secondary, of course, to the raw, visceral emotion of the moment. But for both teams and both divisions, the ramifications went far beyond the immediate gutpunch:

....

Missouri: If Florida had held on to an early 14-6 lead at South Carolina, what happened at Auburn wouldn't have made any difference. But after the Gamecocks' win, it made all the difference. Georgia can no longer land in a three-way tie at 6-2, and the Tigers lose a two-way tie with South Carolina, now safe in the clubhouse at 6-2. Missouri now has to sweep both the Rebels (in Oxford) and Texas A&M to finish at 7-1 if they want to go to Atlanta.

Most gutting for Missouri is that the entire situation could have been avoided if they'd held on to their 17-point fourth quarter lead vs. the Gamecocks. The two most unlikely wins in the SEC this season? That one at Faurot Field for South Carolina, and Auburn's Saturday. Both were devastating for Missouri.

And looking at Missouri's history of seasons being ruined by historical/memorable plays, such as these:

I almost want to go more with it being a case of "God doesn't like the Missouri Tigers"

I erupted with laughter along with the lone Auburn guy at this "Georgia" bar. It was great but I'm still annoyed with the db's. No way Auburn should have won. Haha.

I also hoped they'd overturn Murray's TD. Karma. I guess that last TD made up for it. Hahaha

The UGA DB coach should be in hot water after that.

A simple knockdown and it's their ball in AU territory. Smh

Malzahn is such a mastermind to call a long pass play where the quarterback throws it so that it deflects off of two Georgia defenders bounces up and over the receiver's head and then lands softly in his outstretched hands as he waltzes into the end zone. I don't think he could have drawn it up any better.

What? He had the pick right in his chest. If he knocks it down and Auburn drives the field and kicks a game winning FG guaranteed you would be calling him moronic for knocking it down.

It was 4th down. If he knocks it down jawja takes over on downs and ball game is over. You've gotta know down and distance. Dbs were dumb.

What is it with people going straight to the coaches for everything that goes wrong?

Do you honestly think that their coach doesn't teach them to knock the ball down on those types of plays? Middle school players are taught this.

Even if the coach doesn't teach that the players should know better

Not me. I like RICHT a hell of allot more than the Auburn coach. In any case, I'll be rooting for Bama all the way....just to keep OSU out of the title game.
