GoG's thoughts of the day 09-23

Right, I had made the suggestion that it should be #1 on that list. Michigan, although mediocre, still made it to a decent bowl game that year and beat Florida. Although it may have been mediocre to Michigan standards, a 1-AA win over a team like Michigan is still monumental in the grand scheme of things. Although that's just my opinion.

That and it was in the largest stadium in college football, how its not the number one upset I don't know...:banghead2:

I wasn't expecting to see TN V FL 2001 on that list, I know we were 18 point Dogs, but we were #4 in the country!!

Was it monumental? Probably not. Did it change the landscape of college football that season? Definitely. The winner had the driver seat to Pasadena that year. Unfortunately for you guys, another team out west wanted the SEC title game more.

GoG... How long are you going to be in Phoenix? If you want a good place to catch the Thursday night (and Saturday if you are here) look up Half Moon Sports Bar in Scottsdale. The one on Greenway and 3rd St.

Until Wednesday. I won't have a car since all the company functions will be at the hotel. I need to look up the hotel and see if they have a decent gym on site.

Don't take this as a me leaving ala LG, but rather leaving you in suspense and making you want more of my opinions.

Have a great day Orange and White!

Did one of the Mods or Admins ask you to post your daily thoughts...or are you just so arrogant that you think everyone is interested in what you are thinking on a daily basis?

Actually many of the posters on VolNation asked me to continue doing it. :good!:

I'm not his mom... and I do enjoy his posts. He puts more thought into his than most of the posters here. He's also a real CFB fan that keeps up nationally and hasn't just latched on to the Gator bandwagon.

I hope he feels the pain of a thousand deaths when Kiffin leads the Vols to a 5 game run against Meyer and UF... but otherwise he seems like a good guy.

Nobody forces you to open his threads and read. You can even put him on ignore.

GoG - you have set such a high bar that I am concerned you might quickly burn yourself out.
