With Sims signing they wont waste another spot on a QB they will go hard after one of the top kids in next years class since we are looking really good with several of them.

actually I would love to add Scotty Young. He is a great baseball player as well, so Coach Raleigh get on it.

Also, we are in pursuit of Clark but would anyone be opposed to going after Kadron Boone???

Yeah let's pretend Simms or Lamaison are better than this stats which would probably be better in one year then both of simms or lamaison's years in JuCO

on rivals tech only has six 4* players so i think we would not go after most, if any, of their recruits. i was just curious

Didn't Ahmad Dixon take a visit or scheduled to Tx Tech? One option probably eliminated.

yea we wont go after another QB this year. next year bring on the blue chippers... :)

Problem is similar to this year as next year with QBs. Bridgewater is projecting more as a Dual Threat QB or even a WR. Uzomah is being looked at as a TE. I think Golson is Dual Threat, it really is leaving us back to LeMay, Miller (who will be hard to pull from OSU) and Johnson who will ultimately play Basketball and Football with a focus on the former (although I am not gonna lie we can use a Point Guard in the worst way)

So do we really just put all emphasis into LeMay, and hopefully Justin Worley ??

Trevante Porter the DB commit they have is the only guy we would be interested in. He is 6ft and a 4.4. Only guy I could see us calling.

I hope we can actually get some use out of Simms and not have to put him in a dark closet

In my opinion, Simms will beat out Nick next year for the starting position. I would like Nick to get a chance, but I don't see it. He is not Kiffin's type of QB.

To be a warm body.. Kiffin didn't offer Simms until he realized he wasn't going to turn another HS QB..

Simms will never play at UT unless something drastic happens.. IMO

One thing is for sure. They will have to work their asses off and prove which one deserves the starting job. That is what I like about Kiffin.

Stephens will be UT's QB in 2010. So your wrong about Simms, but I like your avatar. That was a great moment right there.

Simms may never be the starter but I guarantee he wasn't recruited to be just another warm body. I think the coaches wanted another QB so they could redshirt Bray, but with Lamaison already on the roster, I don't think they would have offered anyone who wasn't at least capable of giving Stephens some competition.
