Did you see how angry on the boards he was before he left. I say he would throw bricks or bottles, TP is too mellow for him.

Doubt it, he was prolly drunk by the first lap, got the standard adrenaline rush when Jr lead a few, gained hope he would win.....watched the last few laps (That were boring BTW) anticipating a Jr charge to the front only to be robbed by the "Caution" flags.

Then comes anger.....then mob havoc mentality.....then beer cans being thrown. A vicious cycle....

I always hate to see any race end under a caution, but that is the way it goes in Nascar. I think Jeffy was going to win no matter what. It looked like he had the car to beat all day.

The fans throwing stuff on the track is embarassing. Dale Jr. probably feels the same way.

I hate to see people equate the morons throwing stuff on the track with "Dale Jr fans". Which driver they are a fan of is irrelevant. I'm sure 99% of the Dale Jr fans out there were shaking their heads when they saw the stuff being thrown on the track.

The fact is, they are just drunk idiots who should never be allowed to attend a race again.

you mean rednecks, i went to dega a few years ago and sat up close(great seats) and gordon led all day long, when jr. took the lead which i was pumped about the place went nuts, it was so loud. well jeff ended up winning and since it was my first trip to dega i took some pics of gordon doin some doughnuts. in my pics there are 800 rednecks who are flickin him off. pretty hilarious pics, i have one framed in my house. i like jr. and i like smoke, but i'm not going to act like an A$$ cause gordon won. he seems like a good guy, but i can't be a fan of his.

Idiots, morons, no class rednecks . . . all the same thing. Although, there are plenty of rednecks that are smarter than to throw a perfectly good beer at a moving race car.

That's why Jr is so popular. The cookie cutter drivers would have talked about responsibility and fan safety. Jr gets the same point across by saying:
"Beer is for drinkin'." - Dale Jr. :)

:good!:
