Going to the Mizzou game!

I’m taking the family to the Missouri game. Lived in Missouri for years, never been able to go to a game. Any advice? Who else is going?

My best friend, UT grad, lives in Jefferson, Mo. and supports the Vol teams when they play out there, you won't be alone. He also said that for the most part Missouri fans are very welcoming to other fan bases so hopefully it will be a fantastic experience for you. Enjoy your trip.

I bringing my 2 daughters (7 & 10) from Kansas to see it. It will be their first games. Meeting up with more family and friends which should make for a great time.

It was cold as heck one time I went up there and I was there last time when the weather was nice and we boat raced them. Fun trip. Not gonna make it this time though. They have a pizza place downtown that was pretty good and we always get a stag beer and burger at booches. Fans were good no issues there.

If you plan to tailgate then I don't know. Parking in the VA lot is pretty cheap and a short walk to the stadium if you aren't. Lots of restaurants north of Mizzou medical and around town

Wanted to go. My son is a Mizzou grad. But we're going to be in deer stands for opening day instead.

It can... but this year it will be about the same as K'ville. High around 60. Low around 40.

Cafe Poland for pierogies, crepes, etc. Near campus (1m to stadium), small, authentic, a few tables, but you can take out lunch and eat in the park across the street. 807 Locust St, Columbia

I visited St. Louis once and rode up the Arch to the top of Busch Stadium.

If they lose to Georgia this week, it probably won't be too hostile of an environment for a visiting fan.

I went to the UK game. I would imagine Mizzou would have similar fans. Just be friendly and say things that you don't really mean to be complementary of their team, knowing the whole time we are going to win.

Why be different on the road. Many of our fans wear black at home against Missouri and Vanderbilt. I’ll never understand this.
