pretty much. if he does transfer and comes back to tennessee, if we don't want him and for some reason he doesn't transfer to Vandyland will he really settle for an Austin Peay or leave town again?

tyler smith signed with us initially...not quite "zero interest"

How about J.P Prince then?

We take Tate in a heart beat. Remember these are still YOUNG men. It's O.K. to change your direction in life. Especially to become a Vol.

Golden tate is super cocky and full of himself. I used to go to school with his bro and i met him a few times. He was great... but way too full of himself to earn much respect from me. Unless hes changed, id rather us not get anymore head cases.

Come on, elite athletes that go to Notre Dame, Tennessee, Florida and elite D1s are going to cocky. I bet there are players for us just as cocky

I'd be cocky too if I couldn't even field a pop-up yet still got picked in the MLB draft out of high school.

I think MLB teams pretty much overrate any great football athlete who happens to play baseball too. After all the Rockies picked Michael Vick in the 30th round after his sophmore year at VT and he hadn't played baseball in 7 years.
